An excellent career opportunity is now available in a 250 bed Northern California non-profit Medical Center seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for their bustling Emergency Department
The Emergency Assistant Nurse Manager will oversee the daily operations of an extremely busy 25 bed unit, which annually sees over 35,00 patients. Reporting to the Manager of Emergency Services, the Emergency Department Clinical Supervisor is supported by charge nurses and a well tenured staff of Registered Nurses.
The Medical Center recently opened a New Emergency center offering the highest level of care with all private enclosed treatment rooms for patients. The state of the art Medical Center is at the cutting edge of technology, offering portable equipment for each patients room.
The Assistant Nurse Manager Emergency Services will collaborate with 20 physicians board certified in Emergency Medicine, along with nurse Practitioners, nurses, educators, clinical coordinators and case managers.
The Emergency Assistant Nurse Manager will collaborate with the Infection control committee as well as the Quality Coordinator to ensure best practices and patient satisfaction. The Emergency Services Assistant Nurse Manager will be responsible supervision of the department, treating any immediate medical or surgical emergencies and for providing other chronic medical problems, minor injuries or illness.
