An amazing opportunity is now available for an Assistant Nurse Manager of Med Surg Tele in a well renowned 300-bed San Francisco Bay Area Medical Center.
The Medical Surgical Telemetry unit is a specialized unit in a hospital that provides care to patients who require continuous monitoring of their vital signs and cardiac rhythm. The Assistant Nurse Manager Med Surg Tele will be responsible for overseeing the 35 bed mixed medical surgical telemetry unit, with oversight of 65 FTE's. The Nursing Supervisor Telemetry will report to the Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse Manager, and will collaborate with 3 other Supervisors in the unit.
The Assistant Nurse Manager Telemetry will also assume fiscal responsibility for the unit budgets, serve as a liaison with medical staff and other personnel, promote the internal growth and development of each employee, support nursing research and assure patient advocacy. Assisting the Nurse Manager in the overall management of the Telemetry unit: The ANM may help with scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure the unit is adequately staffed and equipped to meet patient needs.
The Assistant Nurse Manager Acute Care will collaborate with Unit Directors and Nurse Managers to ensure all areas of the medical center are properly staffed and are able to provide the highest level of patient care services. The Nurse Manager Medical Surgical will be responsible for creating the culture, leading the teams and ensuring the hospital runs efficiently and smoothly every shift.
