A growing acute care hospital system in sunny Georgia is looking for a Clinical Nurse Educator Oncology to join their inpatient oncology team! The Nurse Educator Inpatient Oncology will work three days per week on the day shift, from 7:00 am – 7:30 pm.
The Clinical RN Educator Oncology will report to the Inpatient Oncology Unit Director and will work closely with the direction and Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist to meet unit education needs. The RN Educator Inpatient Oncology will utilize evidence based practice to evaluate current unit practices and implement new unit best practices.
The Clinical Nurse Educator Oncology will be a clinical expert, will complete education reports, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and will stay up to date on latest evidence based practice. The Oncology Nurse Educator will also plan orientation programs for new hire staff as well as continuing in service programs for current staff.
