A wonderful new opportunity for a Diabetes Nurse Educator has now become available at an acute care facility right outside of Long Beach California. This facility is made up of 140 beds and is well known for their high quality service, and state-of-the-art technology.
Diabetes Nurse Educator reports directly up to the Manager of Nutritional Services while working with other CD's all being registered nurses. A BSN or MSN is required for consideration of this opportunity as well as previous experience as a CDCES at an acute care facility of similar size. Team of nurses will consistently work together to ensure that each patient is educated on diet, and lifestyle changes to live and healthy happy life. Registered Dietitian's may also be considered for this opening while having at least 3 years of experience in treatment and education of diabetes services.
