A community-centered acute care hospital in Southern New Mexico is seeking an Emergency Dept. Director to join their team! Come work with an innovative and people-oriented facility seeking to truly make a difference.
Located within a short drive to Texas or Arizona, this hospital is surrounded by breathtaking views, exciting outdoor activities, and a creative arts and cultural scene. Operating at less than 200 beds, this facility maintains that smaller operations feel which allows teams to feel more like family rather than just co-workers while still being able to provide a full range of services to its patients.
The Director of Emergency Department is responsible for overseeing the operations of the facility’s Emergency Department and reports to the CNO. Reporting up to this Director position, the Emergency Department Manager further assists the director with ensuring top-notch emergency care is provided to the community. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, has his/her current New Mexico RN license (or compact RN license), and has a minimum of 5 years recent ER RN experience as well as 3 to 5 years of manager level and above. BSN degree highly preferred.
The RN Emergency Department Director is eligible to receive a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to PTO, health insurance, and retirement.
