A Magnet designated acute care hospital located in northern Maryland is now searching for an experienced Director Nursing Operations and Clinical Informatics to join their award-winning healthcare team.
This acute care hospital is home to nearly 300-beds and provides a wide variety of services to more than 95,000 residents in the surrounding areas. This location offers a number of awarded inpatient and outpatient services including behavioral health, cancer care, surgical services, rehabilitative care, imaging and laboratory services, women’s health and pediatrics, critical care and emergency services, and much more.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director Nursing Operations and Clinical Informatics is responsible for managing patient throughput, has oversight of nursing staffing, and data management for the system. The Director develops patient care strategies to implement system-wide, supports nursing teams by analyzing data, and ensures quality patient outcomes. The Director also has oversight of multiple inpatient units including transport services, central staffing and scheduling, nursing resources, and nursing informatics.
What Makes You Awesome:
- Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Maryland or ability to obtain
- Master’s degree in related setting highly desirable
- Progressive nursing leadership experience in acute care setting
