Director of Telemedicine

Joining the team at a 300 bed short-term acute care hospital and designated Trauma Center, the Director of Telemedicine Services will contribute to an advanced academic medical center offering a spectrum of specialized medical services, including 24/7 Emergency Care, Cardiovascular Services, Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery, Maternal Child Healthcare, and Primary Care Services. Renowned as an award-winning non-profit community hospital, it is widely acknowledged for delivering exceptional care to patients in the local communities and beyond.

Directly reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Clinic Services, the Director of Telemedicine Services will assume responsibility for overseeing and directing the virtual health services program across the entire health system. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, strategic planning, and human resources, ensuring the efficient operation of the program and the delivery of high-quality services to patients and their families.

Requirements for this role include a Master’s Degree, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field. A minimum of five years of progressive acute care leadership experience is essential, along with previous expertise in telehealth, telemedicine, and virtual health services.

Nice to have: Certified Professional in Healthcare Information & Management Systems (CPHIMS).

This role necessitates full-time, in-person presence at the hospital.
