The Emergency Assistant Nurse Manager will lead a very busy ED that just expanded to 50 beds and will work the 3:30 pm - 12:00 am shift. This Emergency Department is known for their impressive low wait times and excellent Nurse Management! The Assistant Nurse Manager Emergency will report to an ED Nurse Manager that was awarded the #2 unit within the entire healthcare system, across multiple hospitals, in the employee satisfaction survey!
The Emergency Assistant Nurse Manager will be very involved in Management duties and overall unit leadership. They will be expected to fill in for the Nurse Manager Emergency when needed and will contribute in making important unit decisions. The ED Assistant Nurse Manager will also be very involved in hiring process of bringing on new employees and team members into the unit. The Assistant Nurse Manager Emergency will also oversee the Clinical Decision Unit when needed.
