Reporting to the Director of Social and Mental Health Services, the Hospital Behavioral Health Counselor will be responsible for providing assessments and clinical services for patients in the Emergency Department and the Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. The Hospital Behavioral Health Counselor will conduct pre-admission screenings and intake assessments as well as provide crisis intervention services.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited University, or Advanced Practice Nurse
- Current New Mexico State Licensure: LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT, or APRN
- At least 1-year experience post-licensure preferred
