Hospital Laboratory Assistant Manager

A reputable community hospital in Washington State is looking for an experienced Laboratory Assistant Manager to join their team.

As a Laboratory Assistant Manager, you will report to the Manager of the Laboratory and work alongside other experienced and knowledgeable Supervisors and MLT staff. The Assistant Manager will ensure samples are tested and reported within the required turn-around time and be able to prioritize samples appropriately. This person will also have the opportunity to perform various clinical lab tests to obtain data for future use in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Communication is essential in order to refer unresolved issues to the appropriate personnel and in assisting and orienting co-workers and other personnel in the lab policies and procedures.
