An outstanding acute care hospital in Northern Alabama is actively seeking an Hospital Laboratory Director to join their exceptional team!
The Director Hospital Laboratory Services will ideally have their Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technologist or related field, an ASCP Certification, and previous hospital laboratory leadership experience. The Hospital Laboratory Director will enjoy a Monday - Friday day shift schedule.
This 170 bed acute care facility is dedicated to providing compassionate care to their community. As the Hospital Laboratory Director, you will oversee a range of administrative, financial, and technical operations to ensure the clinical laboratory operates efficiently and complies with corporate policies. You will also manage quality control, quality assurance, and point-of-care testing programs, coordinating with other hospital departments. Additionally, you will serve as the technical supervisor for off-site clinical laboratory functions associated with the hospital, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
