Our highly accredited facility located just outside of Washington DC is looking for a Hospital Director Infection Prevention to ensure that their facility does not harbor the spread of infectious diseases.

As Hospital Director Infection Prevention, you will be a critical component of an award winning, 300 bed facility that is part of a greater health system known around the nation. This facility’s size, recognition, and connection to an accredited health system gives lots of room and opportunity for professional growth.

As the Hospital Director Infection Control, you will be accountable for overseeing administrative operations, maintaining a fiscally sound budget, and designing policies and procedures to reduce infection rates within the hospital as much as possible. The Director Infection Prevention will be an experienced leader with a background in infection control for healthcare systems. A Nursing License is not required. Nursing Infection Preventionists and non nursing Hospital Infection Preventionists with acute care hospital infection prevention experience will have quick interviews.

The Hospital Infection Control Director will have the proper support to ensure that they are meeting all goals of the department. The Infection Control Preventionist Hospital will be supported by an Infection Prevention Manager, Hospital Infection Prevention Specialist support staff, and will report directly to the CNO.
