Interim Women and Infant Services Director

An outstanding hospital in eastern Arizona is in search of a new Interim Women and Infant Services Director. 

This hospital has earned numerous awards for units throughout their facility.  In addition, this 50 bed hospital is accredited in many areas, but notably has a glowing record in their Labor and Delivery Department. This Community Hospital has been diligently serving the surrounding communities, winning awards in quality care. The Interim Women and Infant Services Director will join an organization with an outstanding reputation in the community and across the Southwest. 

The Interim Women and Infant Services Director will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer. Supported by 2 managers and several tenured charge nurses, this person will lead a fantastic team and busy department seeing over 600 deliveries per year and helping seasoned staff devoted to quality care. 

The Interim Women and Infant Services Director will be in charge of overseeing that care provided by nurses is efficient and thorough. This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with the CNO, as well as managers to achieve the highest level of operational and clinical efficiency that aligns with the hospital’s standards and values. The Interim Women and Infant Services Director will also have opportunities to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives.
