Reporting to the Inpatient Laboratory Operations and Technical Manager, and working closely with an excellent team of Acute Care Laboratory Medical Laboratory Techs, and Clinical Laboratory Scientists, the LIS Specialist will service and develop the Laboratory Information Systems that keep this department operating smoothly and accurately.

A background as a Hospital Laboratory Generalist, with in-depth experience in Laboratory Information System analysis and routines will certainly earn very fast interviews. This person will be the backbone of the clinical laboratory’s testing and accreditation environment. Supporting accuracy and efficiency improvements, and serving as the hospital’s champion for the adoption and implementation of new data-driven and evidence-based testing methods, the LIS Specialist will have an opportunity to make a lasting impact on this community while growing their career in the process.
