Nurse Director Emergency Services

The Nurse Director of ED will join this award-winning, Level 1 Trauma, 400-bed hospital, which has broken ground on a $500 million regional expansion project. It has doubled in campus size, which includes, but is not limited to, a new state-of-the-art ED. The ED saw close to 100,000 patients last year. Additionally, the ED has both a pediatric and behavioral health wing.

The Nurse Director of Emergency Services, will be the driving force behind care-focused initiatives. Expertise will be the catalyst, translating into tangible results that align with regulations, licensing mandates, and accreditation prerequisites.  As this role is considered pivotal to all hospital outcomes this Nurse Leader will collaborate and interface frequently with C-Suite Executives and report directly to the CNO. The ED Nurse Director will have multiple Nurse Managers of ED as well as Nurse Supervisors report to them in this role. Two Clinical ED RN Educators will support leadership and foster along RNs as they earn their CENs and MSNs. 

The ER Nurse Director must be able to effectively allocate resources, allowing short and long-term objectives to be met with resounding success. Excellent leadership skills, paired with a proven track record in nursing quality and patient safety will underscore the necessary qualifications.
