The Nurse Director of Family Birth Center will oversee the operations of Labor & Delivery and Ante Partum Departments. The Nurse Director of Labor and Delivery Perinatal Services will plan, direct and coordinate all operational activities for areas of responsibility. The Nurse Director of Women’s and Children’s will develop policies and procedures as well as the quality improvement programs for areas of responsibility.
The Nurse Director of Maternal Child Health will develop the capital and operating budgets. The Nurse Director of Perinatal Services will ensure the departments are appropriately staffed by hiring and retaining competent staff. The Nurse Director of Perinatal Services will be responsible for development and enforcement of policies and procedures that ensure quality patient care. The Nurse Director of Maternal Child Health will be responsible for ensuring adequate Human Resources in maintaining acceptable turnover in areas of responsibility. Ensures operations run within budgetary guidelines.
The Nurse Director of Women’s and Children’s will be responsible for positive employee engagement and appropriate communication with staff. The Nurse Director of Labor and Delivery will be responsible for quality and performance improvement activities in department and multidisciplinary while continuously improve positive customer satisfaction results. The Nurse Director of Labor and Delivery Perinatal Services will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines as set by federal, state, local and other agencies (i.e, JCAHO, Medicare, CMS).
