Nurse Manager Cardiovascular Quality

The Cardiac RN Manager Quality will join a highly awarded institution and level I trauma center in the heart of North Carolina. This institution boasts an extensive list of awards and accolades for their cardiovascular service line, and are seeking a talented and dedicated Cardiac Quality Nurse Manager to oversee staff at three local inpatient and outpatient facilities.

The Quality Nurse Manager Cardiac will oversee the coordination and expansion of initiatives focused on heart failure, myocardial infarction, and chest pain. This includes managing related cardiovascular activities such as Code STEMI, adhering to American College of Cardiology and AHA guidelines, obtaining Chest Pain Accreditation, and implementing quality improvement measures for each program.

The Nurse Manager Cardiac Quality will have the support of Heart Failure and Cardiovascular educators, navigators, and coordinators as well as respective inpatient and outpatient Cardiovascular Nurse Managers and Assistant Nurse Managers. They will oversee approximately 10 FTEs across three local campuses. The Cardiac Nurse Manager Quality will report to a phenomenal Cardiovascular Executive Director and will work closely with other Heart Center leadership.

The ideal Nurse Manager Cardiac Quality candidate will be an experienced clinical cardiovascular services nursing leader. Additionally, they must hold an RN license, possess a Bachelor's Degree, and have accumulated 5 years of experience in the cardiovascular field. A background in quality improvement is preferred.
