The Nursing Manager for Obstetrics will directly report to the Nursing Director of Women’s Services. This person will work closely with a wide range of providers and professionals, including Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Certified Nurse Midwives, Labor and Delivery Nurses, Social workers and other support staff. The Clinical Nurse manager will succeed due to the support of this tenured team.

The Clinical OB Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic within this esteemed community hospital. Their responsibilities encompass the management of Clinic and the nursing staff, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality obstetric care to patients. Within this facility, the OB Nurse Manager will find plenty resources dedicated to maternal and infant health, including six spacious birthing suites equipped with amenities to accommodate family members and visitors. Additionally, they will oversee the operations of the OR suite and recovery room specifically designed for C-section delivery patients.The Clinical OB Nurse Manager will coordinate the activities of two nurses' stations, facilitate the smooth operation of the newborn nursery, and oversee the two-story Atrium lobby and waiting area, which serve as welcoming spaces for patients and their families.

The Nurse Manager will also be responsible for the department's quality performance and risk management programs. The Manager will develop clear performance expectations and resolve performance problems. In addition to these aspects, they will also help develop and maintain the departmental budget, as well as regulatory compliance.
