The Nurse Manager Perinatal Women’s Services will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Women and Children’s Department including Labor and Delivery. The Nurse Manager Perinatal Women’s Services will perform duties such as managing employee relations, quality and performance improvement projects and fiscal planning for the large department.
Reporting to Nurse Director of Women and Children’s Services, the Nurse Manager Perinatal Services will oversee over 65 employees including the Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor and Staff Nurses within the department. They will work collaboratively while practicing shared leadership to provide the best quality of patient care to the surrounding community. The Nurse Manager Perinatal Women’s Services will uphold the mission statement and values of the organization to the highest extent as well as provide leadership and support to the other professionals working within the Obstetrics and Gynecology unit.
