Nurse Manager Transplant Services

A brand-new opportunity for a Manager of Transplant Services is now available with a large, prestigious non-profit hospital in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Reporting to the Regional Transplant Service Line Director, the Manager of Transplant Program will oversee all Transplant operations at an award-winning medical center known for high standards of patient care.

This leading Organ Transplant Program attracts patients from across the country with their accomplished multidisciplinary team of highly skilled transplant surgeons. Working collaboratively with the Nursing Manager Transplant Services will provide physical and new program development for all solid abdominal organ transplants, including:

• Kidney Transplant
• Liver Transplant
• Pancreas Transplant
• Heart Transplant

The RN Manager of Transplant Service Line will maintain a high standard of patient care by ensuring that adequate staffing, safety training, and regulatory requirements are met. The ideal candidate for Transplant Program Nurse Manager has a broad understanding of Medicare and UNOS transplant regulations. The Nurse Administrator of Transplant Services will also manage the unit budget to achieve financial goals.

This RN Manager will be the face of the Transplant Institute. As one of the top 10 transplant programs in the country, this RN should have a strong background in nursing leadership with experience overseeing quality initiatives, and growing service lines. This Nurse Manager will also need to be extremely professional and approachable, as this role will include an immense amount of communication among units, hospitals, and teams.
