One of the best hospitals in the Tucson area is in search of a new Director of Women’s Services.

This hospital has earned numerous awards for Quality and Patient Care, including an “A” safety rating throughout the facility. In addition, this 100 bed hospital is accredited in many Service Lines, including Labor and Delivery, providing outstanding care and earning The Joint Commission’s gold star approval. The Director of Women’s Services will join an organization with an outstanding reputation in the community and across the Southwest.

The Director of Women’s Services will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer. Supported by 2 managers and several tenured charge nurses, this person will lead a fantastic team and busy department seeing over 100 deliveries per month and seasoned staff devoted to quality care during the most memorable days of new parents' lives.

The Director of Women’s Services will be in charge of overseeing that care provided by nurses is efficient and thorough in all women’s health areas, including Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery. This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with the CNO, as well as managers to achieve the highest level of operational and clinical efficiency that aligns with the hospital’s standards and values. The Director of Women’s Services will also have opportunities to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives.

The Tucson area is known for its breathtaking sunsets and view of the Sonoran desert as well as some of the cleanest air in the country. This hospital is close to the downtown area, housing some of the best South western Restaurants and ample opportunity for exploring.
