Nursing Director of the Emergency Department

This Director will continually work closely with the Emergency Medical Director and amazing providers to ensure quality care. 

The Emergency Department has multiple care areas, including critical care, triage, and routine rooms. The Nursing Director of the Emergency Department will oversee a unit that has roughly 12,000 visits annually, with the nursing staff being certified in advanced adult and pediatric life support. The Medical Staff is exceptional, and the whole team in the Emergency Department is a family. 

As the leader of the department, the Nursing Director of the Emergency Department will maintain staffing numbers and compliance with educational requirements. The Director will also manage the budget and make processes more efficient when necessary. Beyond that, the Director will have the opportunity to create impact by spearheading quality and patient care improvement projects.
