The Nurse Director Hematology/Oncology has oversight for the Oncology service line nursing care delivery, standards of nursing practices, and objectives. Responsibilities include to organize and manage department, associated cost centers, and services. Strategic planning, development and project management are essential components of rewarding opportunity. The Nurse Director Hematology/Oncology will plan, directs and coordinates the activities of the professional and supportive nursing personnel while regulating activities of these nursing units, analyzes and evaluates nursing services provided. The Director will manage resources and provides leadership to accomplish hospital, nursing, and department goal and collaborates with the nursing and medical leadership team.

The Nursing Director Hematology/Oncology will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a Masters being preferred and leadership experience. Nursing Administration or Professional (Specialty) Certification in Nursing Administration is preferred and must obtained within first year.
