The Operating Room Nurse Manager will have a matrix reporting structure to the C-Suite and oversee the clinical guidelines and protocols for all levels of care. They will work closely with administrative leadership as well as nursing, physicians, and other quality administrative personnel.

The Operating Room Nurse Manager will collaborate with other Hospital Leadership for the overall support in the organization. This Managerial level position is very much a team effort to be sure that guidelines/policies are being followed and that patient needs are being met.

The Operating Room Nurse Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality care to patients while overseeing the day to day activities in the Surgical Unit. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance and healthcare regulations are being followed and that staffing OR needs are being met. In this role, operational oversight is important in making sure things are running smoothly in the OR such as ensuring all supplies and medical equipment are readily available for all professionals to efficiently complete their tasks.
