Pediatric Oncology Nurse Director

The Pediatric Oncology Nurse Director will oversee the day to day operations of the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Department. This includes a 26 bed inpatient unit and 19 chair outpatient infusion unit. They will provide clinical and administrative leadership to all aspects of the specific nursing unit(s). This involves leading clinical operations, patient safety, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance and other duties. The Pediatric Oncology Nurse Director is responsible for supervising, motivating, and directing nursing care and all related activities. 

The ideal Pediatric Oncology Nurse Director candidate will have a strong background in pediatric oncology along with years of acute care leadership experience. A Bachelors of Science in Nursing is required along with a Masters Degree. Ideally, the candidate will already have a current New York State License or willingness to obtain within 3 months.
