A fantastic acute care hospital system in beautiful Coastal Virginia is now hiring a Stroke Program Nurse Educator Coordinator. This is a full-time position that requires a Bachelor’s Degree, a Registered Nursing Degree, and 3-6 years of nursing experience working with Stroke patients. This could include an Emergency RN or Critical Care Nurse with experience caring for stroke patients.
The Stroke Program Nurse Coordinator Educator will work a Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm shift so that they can provide stroke education to day shift and night shift nurses. The RN Stroke Program Coordinator will oversee the hospital stroke program management. The Stroke Coordinator will collaborate with the Stroke Medical Director and will provide clinical nursing and professional expertise to evaluate, management, and implement interventions. The Nurse Coordinator Stroke Program will ensure compliance with CMS and accrediting agencies for disease specific program certifications.
