What You'll Do
As a Hospital Supervisor Respiratory, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our respiratory care department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Directing the activities of other respiratory therapists with minimal supervision.
- Performing and monitoring various respiratory care operations.
- Assuming responsibility for problem resolution and teaching quality control and maintenance.
- Collaborating with our dedicated staff to provide coordinated care.
- Taking the lead in staff education, yearly competencies, and improvement initiatives.
- Providing direct patient care, instruction, and preparation for continuing care after discharge.
- An Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of Respiratory Therapist experience.
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Current VT State license.
- RRT Certification.
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification is preferred.
