Surgical Services Nurse Director

The Perioperative Nursing Director will work with hospital wide leadership to meet organizational goals. This department has an average of 5000 surgery cases annually including but not limited to General Surgery, GI/GU, ENT, Orthopedics, Cardiac, Vascular, and Plastics. Perioperative Nursing Director will be expected to provide a work environment where the staff feels empowered and supported. They will mentor staff to effectively maintain and achieve positive patient outcomes and satisfaction. The Surgical Services Nurse Director will adhere to AORN standards, state and federal regulations, devise and implement the unit budget, and improve growth and development.

Education and experience must include:

• BSN
• CNOR Certification
• FL State RN License
• At least 3 years of Surgical Services experience at the Director level.
