Responsibilities:
• Accurately review and process billing for interventional cardiology procedures, ensuring compliance with coding and documentation requirements.
• Verify and submit claims to insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid, following up on any denials or rejections.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to obtain necessary documentation and ensure accurate coding.
• Stay up to date with current coding guidelines, reimbursement policies, and industry changes related to interventional cardiology.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cardiac Biller, with a focus on interventional cardiology.
• Proven success in cardiovascular billing and coding, with a strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification or equivalent is mandatory.
• Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
