Clinical Director

Overview:

• The Managing Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Services directs, organizes, and supervises all aspects of the Mental Health and Behavioral Health Integration Programs to ensure that quality services are provided to improve the mental health needs of the clients served by our clinic. The Managing Clinical Director is responsible for ensuring best practices in clinical practice, customer service, and incident management. The individual will oversee scheduling, client assignments, and overall staff productivity to ensure that we are meeting all targets as required by funders and licensing entities.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to work well in a multidisciplinary team environment and have experience working with persons living with HIV/AIDS, who are experiencing mental illness, substance abuse, and addiction/compulsive issues under a Harm Reduction Model for service provision.
• Ensures compliance with NYS OMH 599 Regulations.
• Develops and supervises all projected quality management activities. In particular, ensures that Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) standards are met.
• Provides Administrative and Clinical Supervision to all Behavioral Health Staff.
• Oversee Intake/admissions as well as case closing process to ensure efficiency minimal waiting list.
• Submits all applications for continued funding.
• Submits all reports as required by funders.
• Participates on all funder related conference calls.
• Oversees all program/service related activities.
• Directs the development of all program components including individual, family, and group services.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with PLWHA population and social service systems in New York City.
• Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) or a Doctorate in Psychology (PhD).
• Two years experience in program management.
• Three to five years of post graduate clinical experience.
• Two years providing clinical supervision in a social service setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
