We are assisting an exclusive hospital system for a full-time Diagnostic Sonographer.
Job Summary
Responsibilities include:
Operates medical imaging equipment that directs high-frequency sound waves to anatomy for diagnostic purposes.
Responsible for choosing the correct settings and directing the patient to move into positions that will offer the best view.
Obtain high-quality imaging for Radiologist interpretation.
General understanding of Picture Archive Communication System and its function.
Documents patient care services by charting inpatient and hospital records.
Able to interact compassionately and effectively.
Ability to utilize specialized computerized equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy which aid Radiologists in diagnosing diseases and/or disorders.
Requirements:
Two year college (Associate’s Degree)
ARDMS (AB) Required
ARDMS (AB) and (BR) Preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.00 - $44.00 per hour
