Clippard Instrument Laboratory, Inc ., a leading manufacturer of miniature control solutions, is seeking a Design Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will make a significant impact on peoples’ lives through the design of miniature fluid control solutions. You will be designing critical components and subsystems for life science, medical, analytical, and industrial OEM manufacturers. The Design Engineer will be responsible for the design of custom-engineered products, solutions, and value-added assemblies. The candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast pace effectively, customer-focused role that is critical to the revenue growth for the company. Responsibilities Work with customers and our sales team to ensure the project and product requirements are well understood. Develop unique and creative designs or modify standard products to meet customer requirements. Ensure complete engineering documentation, including product specification, assembly, and detail drawings. Assemble and test prototypes to ensure products meet customers’ expectations in quality and performance. Manage multiple projects to meet individual customers’ project schedules. Communicate effectively across multiple groups, both internal and external. May require up to 5% travel to visit customers or trade shows. Reports to the Engineering Manager.
