Putting people first Responsibilities Ability to work with small parts and microscopes on a daily basis. Handling small instruments in an 8 hour period: such as reamers, drills, tweezers, deburring knives, and air hose. Understand and ensure that parts must conform to print specifications by using measuring instruments such as calipers, gages micrometers, and microscopes. Be able to sit/stand for 8 hours, lift up to 25 pounds and to work with some non-hazardous chemicals. Proper protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and required Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
Position and secure workpieces on machines using holding devices. Work closely with others in a team environment. Maintain a clean and safe work area On the job training provided A sharp eye for quality and detail is essential in this role.
