What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ansible Architect position at Cloud Destinations?
The Ansible Architects will report to the Director of IT Automation and Delivery.
Design, implement, and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for application deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management.
Utilize Ansible Tower for centralized management, logging, role-based access control, and workflow automation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and architect automation solutions that align with company goals.
Train and mentor team members on best practices related to Ansible and Ansible Tower.
Monitor automation processes, ensuring their reliability and efficiency.
Document all automation workflows, including playbook creation and maintenance procedures.
Continuously evaluate the latest Ansible modules, plugins, and features to leverage in automation solutions.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues in the infrastructure related to automation.
Promote a culture of automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within the organization. This position(s) will consult and assist as needed.
The proposed candidates will be dedicated to the State at least 40 hours every week, with appropriate, non-billable, time-off as approved by the State.
Salary : $85 - $90
