AR BILLING ANALYST
Accounts Receivable department at Cloud Software Group provides shared services to multiple international Cloud Software Group entities around the world. The AR Billing Analyst, reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager, is first and foremost responsible for accurate and timely billing of customers in a highly complex business environment. The right candidate for the position will require a solid understanding of complex software licensing methods and terminology. Ability to read and understand legal license and maintenance agreements as well as strong user experience with SAP/Oracle financial applications is required.
Responsibilities:
* Review legal contracts with the intent to verify the terms and conditions, payment structures, license products and billing details, special billing requirements, and customer information.
* Work with Order Management, Revenue team, Sales, and other related groups as needed to ensure proper booking of sales orders.
* Create custom billing invoices as per customer requests.
* Create Pro-forma invoices for Pre-paid account customers.
* Initiate corrective action on orders that require it.
* Provide assistance to customers, partners and internal Cloud Software Group stakeholders with regard to billing related inquiries.
* Process ad-hoc requests related to invoices.
* Ensure month-end billing activities are completed impacting the AR close.
* Ability to reconcile customer account billing inquiries.
* Adhere to billing related internal controls, policies, procedures and ensure SOX compliance.
Experience required:
* Business degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
* At least two years of hands-on A/R billing experience at a software company.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency multiple languages is a plus.
* Prior working experience with SAP/Oracle Financials. Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable module is required. Experience with Order Management, Projects modules, and Salesforce preferred.
* Attention to detail, organization skills, ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
* Willing to work long hours during quarter-end
