We provide career management services and opportunities.Job DescriptionOur client requires a senior level technical Business Analyst to • Create project documents and associated planning documents. • Create stakeholder analyses. • Lead consultations and facilitate stakeholder meetings. • Create business requirements, functional specifications and technical requirements. • Create new business and technical processes and complete business process reviews/re-engineering for existing processes. • Facilitate business process improvement sessions. • Assist in the development of new IT services. • Schedule, organize and lead project status meetings and other meetings as required. • Provide support by bridging communication between vendors, client ministries, and corporate technical and business teams. • Escalate unresolved issues/risks, options and recommendations.QualificationsRequirements-University graduation, diploma, ceritificate or professional designation in a related discipline.-Available for in person interview (Edmonton).-Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to travel to client locations within Alberta.-Business Analyst experience in performing business system analysis/design, and software integration/implementation within an Information Technology environment.-Experience in the implementation for any of the following type of projects: strategic, business process improvement or information technology solution.-Experience in conducting or facilitating stakeholder sessions with involvement from multiple internal business units and external organizations.-Perform business and technical requirements analysis and design using a model-based approach with XML, UML, use cases/user scenarios, and/or other web-services technologies.-With a minimum of 3 projects, experience in managing organizational and technological change.-With a minimum of 3 projects, experience in implementing IT solutions involving two or more third party vendors.Desirables-CBAP, PMP, PgMP, or CMC certification (attach a copy of the certificate or provide the certificate number as applicable)-Experience with developing and executing communication plans.-Experience with project change management processes (such as project scope/timeline change requests).-Experience in resolving business issues and developing business solutions.-Experience with procurement processes for IT solutions (such as PQR, RFI, RFC, RFP)-Experience working with IT solutions involving Object Oriented technologies (such as Java, .Net)-Experience in MS Project version 2003 or higher.-Experience in developing detailed project schedule plans and strategies, estimate resource requirements, develop and monitor work plans for completion of project tasks.-Experience conducting, facilitating and interpreting impact and risk assessments across multiple alternatives for IT solutions.-Experience in communicating and developing presentations for all levels in an organization.-Experience with team collaboration tools such as IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC), Microsoft SharePoint, or equivalence.Additional InformationYou can also view and apply for the opportunity here onhttp://www.cloudtrend.ca/Job/View/2773/Cloudtrend-Inc-Senior-Technical-Business-Analyst-Edmonton-Alberta-Canada-Information-Technology-IT-contract-job-and-career?UrlRef=40When applying, please state the number of years of experience in your response along with your resume.
