What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at Clough Projects Pty Ltd?
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineers to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work on multi-million-dollar projects for an Iconic Company. These roles will be FIFO.
The Project Engineer is responsible for project deliverables working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely, cost effective and fit for purpose engineering and design output complying with company requirements
Your focus will include but is not limited to:
- Delivery of technically acceptable engineering design and construction services for approved work
- Work with technical specialists to ensure specification compliance, technical integrity of design (technical performance).
- Prepare, check and file design information including documents and data from suppliers and other disciplines.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and improvement of systems across the division.
- Manage customer relations to achieve mutually satisfactory and technical program outcomes.
- Liaise regularly with manager to report progress, areas of concern / issues and potential changes.
- Be a proactive member of the team, prepared to work outside conventional boundaries in cooperation with other team members to ensure complete coverage of each work scope.
- Manage and coordinate design and construction effort of team reports to achieve satisfactory outcomes (project performance).
- Provide construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning support to projects as required.
What you will bring to the team:
- Demonstrated experience in working with diverse teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. BSc Eng).
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) - preferred.
- Membership of relevant Engineering Institutions (e.g. Engineers Australia) - preferred.
- Good knowledge of local and international Codes and Standards.
- Relevant experience is defined as experience with engineering contracting or consultancy organisations in marine would be advantageous.
