Accounts Receivable Specialist

Overview

Cloverland Farms Dairy is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to be a part of Cloverland Farms Dairy team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist uses his/her skills as an experienced collections professional to ensure the timely payment of customer invoices, produces and analyzes standard AR and collections reports and secures revenue by posting and reconciling cash receipts. The Accounts Receivable Specialist uses his/her expertise to answer AR team questions and resolve day to day issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect payment from assigned customers in accordance with terms and record into the accounting system.
• Resolve customer account disputes by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service, other departments as needed.
• Post and reconcile daily customer cash receipts.
• Process credit card payments
• Settle delivery tickets to ensure billing accuracy.
• Work exclusively with key customer accounts to ensure timely payment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 2 years of accounts receivable/collections experience.
• Experience collecting on past due accounts in a commercial environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Superior customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given.
• Business related degree preferred but not required.

Work Schedule

• Day Shift - 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Monday - Friday
