The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for procuring materials, equipment, and supplies, negotiating pricing, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the highest quality at the best price. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, vendor relations, and effective collaboration with internal teams to meet our production needs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage inventory levels, purchase orders, and raw material requirements.
· Analyze financial data and negotiate pricing for goods and services.
· Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to fulfill material requests and resolve discrepancies.
· Research new products, materials, and market trends for innovation and sustainability.
· Maintain supplier quality and resolve product issues with vendors.
Qualifications:
· 2-year degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
· 3-5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing.
· CPM, CPSM, or APICS CSCP certification preferred.
· Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
· Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
