Financial Reconciliation Specialist
Location : work from home ----- Tysons Corner, VA
Duration : 12 months plus extensions
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in account reconciliation, and financial services. This position offers the opportunity to work with accounting software and contribute to the financial integrity of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform account reconciliations for various financial accounts
- Assist in accounts payable functions
- Utilize accounting software to track and reconcile financial data
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Handle reconciliation discrepancies promptly and efficiently
Skills:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of payroll management processes
- Experience in account reconciliation and financial services
- Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately
- Familiarity with accounting software for data tracking and reconciliation
- Understanding of SOX regulations and compliance requirements
- Previous experience as a reconciliation specialist is a plus
