The Test Track Driver II is responsible for testing quality designs through vehicle driving per specific duty cycles and vehicle loading.  We are looking for high-energy talent possessing a passion for leadership, change, team spirit, and enthusiasm.  The vision for our Validation department is to be a highly credible, influential, and a capable organization characterized by excellence. 

In this “Test Track Driver I” role, individuals will have the authority, support, and autonomy to execute the Validation Department vision as well as establishing themselves as highly respected contributors with the following responsibilities:

  • Safely drive test vehicles on the test track per correct vehicle assignments, duty cycles, weighting, and other specified items
  • Report all noticed issues with vehicle to Test Technicians and/or Test Engineers
  • Prepare test vehicles for proper inspections at correct times.
  • Enter correct information into logbooks of vehicle issues/laps etc.

Additional duties and growth opportunities will involve:

  • 5S duties in and around the Test Track and various buildings
  • General yard maintenance using hand tools, push and riding mowers
  • Opportunity to learn “preventative maintenance” on Test Track Equipment
  • Opportunity to learn basic mechanical repair skills

At a minimum, applicants should have a High School Diploma, good driving record and a strong attention to detail. Basic computer skills are also required.
