The Job:
Experienced in running an Auto M&R or similar press. Able to meet the daily print requirement while being able to work assist or train on the following off press tasks:
- Exposing screens
- Reclaim
- Mixing Inks
- Washout of screens
Day in the life of the Screen Print Operator:
- Meet daily print requirement while being able to work, assist, or train on off press tasks if needed
- Must be able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in burning screens, mixing inks, reclaim and coating of screens a plus
- Clear vision, color perception and hand-eye coordination are critical
- Willing to handle, mix and or modify chemicals used in screen printing
- Screen prep products and cleaning materials
- Understanding of the folding, packing, staging and counting of printed and non-printed stock
- Must be responsible individuals that will work hard and take initiative
- Must have a high standard of quality
- Must be able to report on time to work daily on time and be willing to work overtime as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in running an automatic screen print press
- Experience in running equipment used for exposing screens
