Club Northwest is actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kids' Activity Center Coach to join our team at our dynamic activity center. As a Kids' Activity Center Coach at Club Northwest, your primary responsibility is to provide a secure and entertaining atmosphere for youth in our care. You will play with children, help to plan and execute exciting activities suitable for various age ranges, and ensure the overall safety, cleanliness, and fun for all members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage and Play: Create a fun and dynamic atmosphere by playing with children and engage in age-appropriate activities that cater to their interests and needs.
- Safety First: Maintain a vigilant presence to ensure a safe environment for all children under your supervision.
- Cleanliness: Regularly clean and sanitize the play area, including toys and equipment, to uphold hygiene standards.
- Welcome and Assist: Greet children and parents upon arrival, ensuring they are properly checked in, and answer any questions or concerns they may have while maintaining the Club Northwest service standards.
- Event Coordination: Collaborate with the team to plan and organize special events, parties, and programs for children, including those not directly related to members (e.g., birthday parties, summer or after-school programs).
- Conflict Resolution: Skillfully handle and resolve conflicts that may arise between children, fostering a harmonious play environment.
- Process Adherence: Follow all established processes and procedures set by the Kid's at Club Northwest Coordinator and Leads, contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children and parents.
- Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and maintaining a fun atmosphere.
- Conflict resolution skills and the ability to create a harmonious play environment.
- Willingness to follow established processes and procedures.
- Exhibits a solution-oriented mindset, actively seeking opportunities for improvement and growth.
- First Aid and CPR certification required within 90 days of hire, with on-site classes available.
