POSITION: Our new studio opening in October in Mechanicsburg is looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to assist the General Manager and team with new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio and booking them into Intro Classes, contact potential clients, help drive Membership sales and overall studio revenue, confirm attendance for classes, and partake in the day to day operations of the studio. The Assistant General Manager also assists with retaining members and works closely with the General Manager in overseeing the studio operations. The right candidate is comfortable contacting leads on the phone and face to face. Candidates MUST have a sales background and experience in the fitness industry is strongly desired. A passion for Pilates is an extra bonus!

REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST have absolute minimum of 3 years of experience selling Fitness/Health Lifestyle Memberships or a similar type of membership-based sales
- Must be able to work flexible schedule to include weekends and a mix of weekdays and weekday evening hours; Standard Weekly schedule will be Sunday through Thursday with Fridays and Saturdays off
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist General Manager with daily studio sales, operations, and scheduling; manage the studio and provide leadership when the General Manager is off
- Provide exceptional level of customer service to prospects and members
- Understand studio operations and assist in scheduling of classes, sales staff and instructors
- Create an environment of support and encouragement
- In coordination with the General Manager, create and execute monthly member appreciation events, challenges, and workshops
- Greet members, manage class check-ins, announce monthly promotions
- Contact prospects via face-to-face, phone, text and email communication
- Engage with prospects to determine fitness goals, develop rapport and book intro classes
- Support Intro Classes
- Follow up on collecting past due memberships and assisting General Manager in managing cancelations
- Sell memberships; learn and understand the options, effectively communicate them to prospects, overcome objections and close sales
- Provide assistance and information on product features and membership details
- Become proficient with the client management software to troubleshoot member account inquiries and issues including class credits, billing details, cancellations, freezes, membership changes, etc.
- Follow up on retention tasks using provided templates and cadence
- Enforce Club Pilates policies and procedures
- Develop sales skills through consistent training and roleplaying
- Ensure studio is staffed appropriately and fill in shifts when needed
- Merchandising of the retail section. Change the display as needed and keep the slat wall updated by rotating inventory as needed
- Participate in grassroots marketing and community outreach events
- Knowledge and regular use of Social Media i.e., Facebook, Instagram, Google to support social media posts for the studio
- Ensure all forms, administrative supplies and studio literature is stocked and visible.
- Ensure the facilities and equipment are clean and maintained, including daily deep cleaning duties
