Job Summary
Expeditors are the gatekeepers of quality control organization and rhythm, linking the front-of-house and back-of-house teams in our restaurant.
Expos ensure orders are accurate, hot and presentable before they leave the kitchen. They often take charge of table tickets, coordinating pickups so everyone at the table gets their food at the same time.
Day-to-Day
- Checking that orders have been made correctly
- Adding garnishes
- Cleaning the plates by wiping the rim
- Communicating between servers and cooks
- Keeping the area clean and up to health department standards
- Running food to tables

- Hands-on experience with food prep
- Food handling training and certifications
- Clear and concise communicator
- Ability to multitask
