Clutch is looking for a VP of Publicity with agency experience for a client of ours.

Responsibilities:

• You have a finger on the pulse of the entertainment industry, spotting trends and translating them into cutting-edge PR strategies that keep us ahead of the curve.
• You inspire and empower your team, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone thrives and learns together.
• Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills are key to building strong relationships and crafting captivating narratives that resonate with audiences.
• You excel in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and consistently meeting deadlines with a positive attitude.
• You spearhead the vision and strategy for the Publicity Department, ensuring your team stays at the forefront of the ever-evolving media landscape.
• You lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented PR professionals. Witnessing their growth and celebrating their successes is a source of pride for you.
• You develop and execute winning PR campaigns that generate buzz and consistently exceed client expectations.
• You cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key players in the entertainment industry – publicists, managers, and agents alike.
• You work hand-in-hand with internal teams like Accounts, Creative, and Production to ensure seamless campaign execution.

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in entertainment and brand publicity, with a demonstrably successful track record, preferably in an agency setting.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools like Cision and Muck Rack is essential.
• Experience handling event PR campaigns is a valuable asset.
• Knowledge of project management software like Basecamp is a plus.
• Expertise in time-tracking and file management software is essential.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
