Clutch is seeking a Medical Editor for a freelance remote opportunity with a client of ours. You will be responsible for proofreading and editing medical/scientific-related scripts, print layouts and storyboards to ensure their correctness, clarity, and quality. You must be detailed oriented in editing, content review, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for editing, clarity, consistency, and accuracy of all jobs assigned
- Reads for correct grammar, punctuation and spelling
- Creates and maintains editorial style guides
- Develop a working knowledge of various programs, clients, & therapeutic areas
- Fact check material to verify accuracy of information
- Ensures all projects are effectively executed and delivered on time
Requirements:
- AMA style proofreading & editing (mid-senior level) required
- Experience working in an agency setting required
- Previous Pharma marketing experience
- Tech-savvy: Mac user
- Quick learner comfortable in a fast pace environment
- Strong eye for detail
- Marking up proofs utilizing Adobe/Word/Excel/PPT required
- Knowledge of ProofHQ, Ziflow & Jira (or similar software)
- Previous therapeutic experience in schizophrenia preferred
