Software Development Intern
CLYNK is a circular economy solutions provider. We make it easy for retailers, brands, redemption operators and everyday people to do the right thing through our consumer-centric “bag-drop” technology solutions. We are the fastest growing mode of beverage container recycling and the most requested option by consumers. Our technology supports recycling at scale across an entire ecosystem including states with Deposit Recovery Systems (aka Bottle Bills) and Producer Responsibility Organizations or Brands who enable customers to recycle with convenient solutions.
Summer Internship:
CLYNK is seeking a highly motivated and creative Software and Development Intern to join our dynamic team. This will be a 10-week internship program running June- August 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Development: Analyze, design code and unit test software solutions such as mobile application, web application, database application, and business portals.
- Problem Solving: Take on meaningful work, engage in out-of-the-box problem solving, and participate in global case challenges and impactful initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members and contribute to success of projects.
- Implementation: Implement a single development lifecycle from analysis and design, build, quality assurance, security, and development.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in quality assurance processes by writing and executing test cases and participating in code reviews.
- Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to improve our software solutions.
- Project Support: Support the team in all aspects of software development, from planning to deployment.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language or technology such as C/C , Vue, .NET, python, Javascript, HTML or React.
- Familiar with software testing principles and understand software engineering concepts and methodologies.
- Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and navigate through ambiguity.
- Good team player with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate.
