What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMA Vendor Relations Manager position at CMA?
Position Purpose
- Manage vendors to ensure all vendors are registered and properly insured to work on CMA-managed properties.
- Liaison for CMA partner and CMA preferred vendors
- Working closely with the Director of CMA Ancillary Services
- Reports to the Director of Association Management
- Main point of contact for managers and boards seeking vendor recommendations
- Assists with vendor and CMA events.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Monitors the VIVE queues daily to ensure that all requests are processed.
- Performs a thorough review of all incoming requests to ensure data quality standards are met, duplicate vendor requests are not submitted, all required paperwork to support the vendor request is complete.
- Works with Risk Management, to troubleshoot issues related to insurance compliance.
- Prepares reporting and performs analysis of reporting result accuracy prior to communicating with other parties in the organization.
- Helps all parties during vendor onboarding, maintenance, and compliance process.
- Manages vendor support inbox inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Leads projects associated with vendor onboarding.
- Collaboratively and actively pursues and executes opportunities to improve the vendor onboarding processes data quality and value. Evaluate and understand the bigger picture and how vendor information impacts other functional areas.
- Identifies ways to improve and increase revenue streams related to the vendor program.
- Training of new managers during the onboarding process and continues to provide support and assistance.
- Ensure that CMA is paid monthly for revenue share from the vendor program.
Nature and Scope
- Interacts directly with corporate officers, Division Managers, Property Managers, Boards, homeowners, and vendors, so clear and concise interpersonal communication skills are a must.
- Position demands accuracy and decision-making skills.
- Yearly billing via Quickbooks
- Set up vendors on Tuesdays with Teammates.
- Navigate Vendor/CMA sponsored events.
- Meet vendors at the office.
- This is an onsite/in office position at our corporate headquarters.
Education Required
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and Outlook email.
- Proficiency in Vantaca/Strongroom/Vive software.
- Proficiency using Accounting Software, QuickBooks, and Excel.
- Degree in Marketing or a similar field preferred
Experience Required
- Property Management / Community Association Management.

Salary:$55,000.00 -$85,000.00 per year DOE
