Job Description
The IT / Network Solutions Tech Lead is primarily responsible for designing, implementing, and administration of IT infrastructure and systems with a networking emphasis including troubleshooting wired and wireless networks in an industrial environment. Critical elements within these areas includes (but are not limited to):
· Windows Server Administration
· Network Design, Setup, and Administration
· Wireless Site Surveys and related analysis
· Setup, configuration, testing, and installation of critical networking equipment including wireless lan controllers, routers, switches, and wireless access points
· Provide network design consultation to clients across various industrial verticals
· Deliver on site and remote technical support to assist clients with resolution of various wired and wireless networking issues
· Setup, configuration, testing, and implementation of wireless mobility hardware including Honeywell / Intermec, Zebra / Motorola, Panasonic, D-Log, and others
· Deliver professional documentation and training materials for clients to ensure successful hand-off of technical solutions to client teams
Role Requirements
· Bachelor degree in Networking, IT, IS, Engineering, or other technical / analytical oriented field is a plus
· Experienced with IT infrastructure including Windows Server, PC setup and troubleshooting, and domain administration
· Expertise with WWAN, WLAN, and WIFI networking infrastructure
· Experience in 3PL (Third Party Logistics) industry a PLUS
· Experience with RF hand-helds and barcode printers is a PLUS
· Self-sufficient and motivated problem solver
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Willing to travel (20% to 30% on average) up to 50%
· Stellar professionalism with a “can-do” attitude
